At Foresta Restaurant, San Leonardo wine is king
The wine cellar of the Hotel Restaurant Foresta boasts an important record in Trentino oenology: it is the only wine cellar to possess all the vintages, since 1982, of San Leonardo wine.
With great pride and commitment, Walter and Riccardo Schacher, the two brothers who own the Hotel Restaurant Foresta, have dedicated a real “Sancta Sanctorum” to this record, a small temple with a "vertical": a success appreciated by the most genuine lovers of wine and of San Leonardo wine, which is ranked in the most reliable national and international classifications as the best in Trentino and one of the most prestigious in Italy.
This worthy setting for a great wine was created by architect Ernesto Sieff, who designed a 30-square-metre niche where only San Leonardo and its younger brothers, Villa Gresti and Terre di San Leonardo, are now presented.
